Avenidas - A Theater in Every Neighborhood
In December Avenidas celebrates its 3rd anniversary. The celebrations start on a festive note, with the Christmas Concert by the Tuna of ADAS - BR - Associação para o desenvolvimento e apoio social do Bairro do Rego - and Cante Alentejano by UNANTI.
A highlight is the finissage of the exhibition, "As Filhas de Léthê" (The Daughters of Léthê), a display of period images that highlights the struggle of women workers in the 1st Portuguese Republic, which takes place on the day of Avenidas' anniversary, with the presentation of the catalog.

Avenidas is the first venue in the Um Teatro em Cada Bairro (A Theatre in Every Neighborhood) program, which is part of a network of cultural venues that are close to and meet with local communities and cultural agents.
